Introduction to Beadmaking
Play with fire and learn to make your own glass beads.
Studio safety and the proper use of a glass torch get you making your first
glass creations. Learn about the different types of glass and color mixing.
Each student will shape molten glass into round, square, triangle, squished,
barrel and swooshy bead shapes.
Students will make about a dozen beads.
Open Studio torch rental time is available after
completion of your Introduction to Beads class at $9.25 per hour plus
materials. Reservations are required for classes; please check our online schedule for
monthly class offerings.
Materials:
All materials, tools, and safety equipment used in class will be provided.
