Making Glass Boxes
Learn how to
cast
a glass box and lid using frit. Students will learn how to prime molds,
create frit mixtures, and fill their molds. Other frit casting molds,
branches, flowers, butterflies, etc will be discussed. No glass cutting skills necessary.
Students will complete the class with the knowledge to
make additional boxes.
Be ready to have a good time, be
creative and make some glass art for yourself, family or friends. Class
completion gives the student access to the schools Open Studio time.
