Muted, pink opalescent

This high-silver-content glass opalizes and strikes with striations of yellows, greens, blues and violets. Additional heat, which is required to anneal, may cause Aurora to continue to strike to darker shades, including burgundy-to-black, especially wherever it is exposed or close to the surface of a bead. However, this characteristic is not as evident as with Dark Aurora (another high-silver-content glass).

This high-silver-content glass opalizes and strikes with striations of yellows, greens, blues and violets with subtle transitions of color. Striking is more involved with this run, as it requires intentional cooling and reheating. As with other Aurora styles, annealing heat over time will extend the striking, this time with shades of sienna-to-black.
