Experimental
The
following rods are special and/or experimental rods with limited quantities.
Celadon
$2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx 1 pounds in stock
Pale opalescent grey-green; subtle in color. Martha Stewart would like this
color very much
Dark Aventurine Blue $2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx 1 pounds in stock
Deepest transparent navy blue, loaded with tiny sparkles. A little goes a long
way with this intensely color saturated style. Beware: Color will bleed with
significant heat. This especially sparkly run revisits Dark Aventurine Blue from
days gone by.
Vintage Rose II $2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx 1 pounds in stock
Muted pink opalescent with subtle hints of yellow. Expect slight variation
Sapphirine Punch $2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx pounds in stock
Striking transparent pink with intriguing visual characteristics. This style has
a dramatic shift from hazy pink with beige undertones (reflected light) to sweet
punch pink (transmitted light). Sapphirine is used to describe this color shift
particular to gold bearing glasses. Low color saturation when used in small
amounts. Overall color saturation and shifting qualities become more intense
when used in larger amounts. Lighter in coloration than Light Fuchsia
Robins Egg II $2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx 1 pounds in stock
Natural, true, robins-egg blue. Muted, turquoise opalescent
Reactive Ice Clear $2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx pounds in stock
Colorless clear with reactive potential. Interface reactions may develop when
combined with silver and/or copper, whether in glass form or with the metals
more directly, such as with leaf or foil. Reactions range from subtle to
dramatic, generally in an earthy, rustic color palette. Transparent. Experiment
and document.
Marbled Pink $2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx pounds in stock
A streaky blend of Petal Pink (000421) and Cranberry Pink (001311). Light to
medium pink color range with darker pink striations. Opalescent. Expect
variation.
Light Turquoise Blue $2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx 1 pounds in stock
Transparent, less saturated version of Turquoise Blue
Reactive Cloud $2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx pounds in stock
Opalescent white with reactive potential. Interface reactions may develop when
combined with silver and/or copper, whether in glass form or with the metals
more directly, such as with leaf or foil. Reactions range from subtle to
dramatic, generally in an earthy, rustic color palette. Experiment and document.
Lavender
$2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx 1 pounds in stock
A muted blue-lavender opalescent. This color is reminiscent of classic,
powdery-purple pastel wafer candies. Similar in color to previously released
Gonzo Grape.
Lemon-Lime
Sparkle
$2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx 1 pounds in stock
A blend of Yellow (001120, a striking glass) and Light Aventurine Green
(001412). Similar to Seaweed Aventurine (001812), but with a yellow hue. Use
this glass over a light opalescent style (like 000013, Opaque White) to show off
its lemony flavor. Transparent. Expect variation.
Mist
$2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx 1 pounds in stock
Hazy, translucent opalescent with an almost pearly interior sheen. Opalescence
will vary, depending largely upon heatwork and the mass of the glass. Beware,
when worked hot and in smaller amounts, its transparency increaseseven to the
point of turning clear. Work relatively cool and use in greater amounts to
develop its ethereal qualities. Experiment and document.
Periwinkle
$2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx 1 pounds in stock
Pastel blue violet, opalescent
Green
Marble
$2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx 1 pounds in stock
Marbled green made from a streaky, blended combination of Light Aventurine Green
(001412) and Canary Yellow (000120), with small amounts of Aventurine Blue
(001140). Flameworked results may be streaky to mottled opalescent, with a
little bit of sparkle. The overall color is green. Expect variation.
Translucent Sky Blue
$2.05 25% Off or $1.54 ea - Approx 1 pounds in stock
Strikes to cloudy, translucent blue from transparent blue. After forming, if it
has not struck already: cool, gently reheat and then cool again to strike.
